Welcome to Tlapali Art Studio, a kids art space founded by the dedicated sisters, Claudia, Melissa, and Veronica Herrera. With over a decade of experience working with young children in the vibrant West Elsdon community, our journey has been one of nurturing young minds and fostering creativity.
We take immense pride in our journey, from our roots in public education and museum spaces to running an Excelrate Silver Circle of Quality Early Childhood Education Center, The Little Scholars Club. In 2021, we opened Tlapali Art Studio with a singular vision: to provide families in our neighborhood with a space where children of all ages can engage in process art experiences. These experiences are not just about creating art but about the journey of self-discovery and self-esteem building.
As Latina women, we are passionate about integrating cultural immersion into our programs. Our art experiences embrace cultural appreciation and understanding in the children we serve.
